i told the kids if they were good in church on sunday then we could put up the halloween decorations when we got home. well, they weren't very good and the decorations still went up. that just shows how good of a rule enforcer i am. however, i did manage to get them to clean up the upstairs before i let them decorate.
this is my favorite time of year (christmas is very close second). i think it's because we go so long without a holiday that requires decorating for and the anticipation just builds and builds. plus, who doesn't enjoy adding a spooky flare to their home?
*please excuse little miss eden, she feels the need to strip off all of her clothes as soon as we walk in the door from anywhere :)
