to kick off october, we thought we would do it the right way and celebrate with a chili and cornbread dinner. jack was very excited since he has been begging to have some cornbread for the past few weeks. he probably had three slices and then took another in his lunch today. what can i say? the boy loves his cornbread. jonah, who is now dubbed "the chili man", ate his weight in chili and then some. everyone else at least had seconds and some even had thirds. needless to say, this dinner was a hit! i'm sure we will be having it a few more times before the month is over or at least until we get sick of it. (is that possible?) happy october!
