we couldn't take a trip a trip to california and not stop off at disneyland for a couple of days. so, to kick off our summer vacation to newport beach we did just that, made a pit stop at disneyland. the first day, we spent a lot of our time checking out the new cars land and it was everything it was hyped up to be. it was amazing. however, we did not waste 3 hours of our day to wait in line for the radiator springs racers. we weren't that desperate (but we did try to get fast passes the next day and had some issues with that-that story tomorrow).
we met up with one of our favorite people, erin, and got to hang out with her. the kids were in disney heaven. also, i lost eden for like 10 minutes and i was freaking out. when i found her, she was in the arms of some lady and had a smile on her face. apparently, she was waiting for me to go into tarzan's treehouse with her. if only i knew that was her plan ;)
we had great day despite the crowds, me losing eden, and jonah's tantrums due to his lack of sleep (we left at 5:30 in the morning from home and by 9pm he had only slept a total of 90 minutes...this is also why my girls had bedhead the entire day...but then again, their hair looks like this 90% of the time anyway...that's just how we roll). so fun.
