jack has a field trip on valentine's day so, his class is having their big party tomorrow instead. which explains why he is making his valentines a little early this year. when ava saw that jack was working on his she decided she wanted to make hers too (even though her party isn't until next week).
i'd like to say i had some cute homemade martha stewart valentines ready for my kids to make but i didn't. just some hassle free manufactured ones from target that my kids probably appreciated much more. jack was in heaven with his star wars lego valentines and ava was pretty happy when she found out that she would get one of her own since her teacher has them make one for themselves too. the kids did a good job personalizing them and are so excited to bring them to school to share with all their friends.
