Breakfast of Champions

I often wonder what my children are doing in the morning while Jason and I  try to get some extra sleep in.  Usually, they come into our room about thirty times asking for breakfast or wanting us to turn on their favorite show or they just jump on us until we are so annoyed that we get up.  Well, Ava thought she would get her own breakfast this morning.  She found if she took her booster seat and used it as a stool, she could pretty much get anything she wanted... like the delicious chocolate chip cookies that I made last night.  Pretty clever.  I guess that's what we get for staying up until 1:30 in the morning playing Wii Mario Kart.  Very addicting, by the way.  Kind of like the chocolate chip cookies.

I can't believe how fast four years can go by.  It seems like yesterday I was experiencing what childbirth was like for the first time.  How can you forget?  All I know is it all seems worth it when its finally over and you are holding this tiny beautiful baby with big fat cheeks.  Happy Birthday Jack!  We love you.

Looking back...

Now...

I'm finally four!

Fish food anyone?

It's A.....

Okay, so I am not one of those people who can wait an entire nine months to know if I have a boy or a girl.  I think it would be a totally awesome experience and hats off to those who can do it.  I just like to have a plan.  I guess I'm the opposite of spontaneous.  Anyways, I did, finally after 22 weeks,  have my ultrasound.  I have to say I was a little surprised since all along I have been convincing myself that I was having a boy but...  it's a GIRL!  It is taking a little while to sink in and I am having to rethink some things, like a name for one. (Jack likes Maggie the Ferocious Beast.  I think it might be a little long.)  But we are super excited and can't wait for her to come.
